Seaforth Pendants by Hollis+Morris

Toronto-based designer Mischa Couvrette revisited his East Coast roots when devising the Seaforth pendant light for Hollis+Morris

Seaforth Pendants by Hollis+Morris

Named for the Nova Scotian fishing community where he lived while attending school and informed by his time spent refurbishing a sailboat, the fixture’s bentwood shape is reminiscent to the skeletal structure that supports a boat’s hull.

Made from solid oak (in natural, white or black) or walnut, the pendant’s light source is an inlaid LED that perfectly traces – and enhances – the sinuous lines. Brass, copper or stainless-steel cuffs finish off the pendant on either end, adding a delicate yet sophisticated detail.

Seaforth is offered in two sizes, allowing for the creation of dynamic groupings hung at varying lengths; or single pendants can be used for for quieter – yet no less impactful – installations.
