To create the Washi textile for Maharam, Dutch designer Hella Jongerius evolved her exploration of ceramic glazes, collaging patches of translucent colour over a solid linen ground using exacting weaving techniques.
The three light and three dark offerings are each combined with tones of earthy brown, copper, olive, iris, grass and citrus.
