Kasama Collaborations is a fascinating and fresh ceramic project that connects British designers and creatives with Japanese potters from the city of Kasama. Launching as part of the latest Kasama Potters Showcase, Kasama Collaborations will showcase an artistic array of new ceramic works.
In this collaborative effort, designers and potters have utilized a range of pottery techniques and craftsmanship to create innovative, design-focused pieces. Artist and designer Adam Nathaniel Furman, designer and textile artist Donna Wilson, ceramicist Reiko Kaneko, the restaurant Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay, and the London Flower School, have each collaborated with an accomplished Kasama potter. Visitors to the Kasama Collaborations exhibition can expect inventive ceramic works that merge elements of both British and Japanese art and design.
