5 elevated lodging units will be projected to live the experience of a tree house within an almost deserted island, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.

Participants:

The contest is aimed at all qualified architects and architecture students, as long as Spanish is maintained as the official language.

A Tree house?

As part of adventure tourism, a new lodging concept that is often sought to be experienced is to live in a tree house, surrounded by nature and in direct contact with it, as if it were a remote island in the middle of nowhere. Today this idea of avant-garde stay is being put into practice
in Europe, by the hand of great architects and designers.

Overall Objetive:

The JUNGLE TREEHOUSE is presented as a real and different option for all those who want to be in balance with the natural ecosystem but with the comfort of modern life.

5 exclusive elevated accommodation units will be conceptualized on 1 or 2 levels, with the characteristic of maintaining a free ground floor for circulation. It may have an anchoring system to the trees or have its own structure. Direct interaction with the existing trees will be maintained at all times and views of the surroundings will be privileged. Its mere presence will become an architectural reference added to the natural landscape.

With this little dream, we seek to find a perfect harmony with nature, to be able to have time to relax and find a space where there is no concern about what surrounds us daily.
