Partisans is currently seeking a Senior Architect, with seven plus years of experience who is passionate about building, execution, detailing, and construction. Experience with a broad range of scales from residential to institutional and commercial projects. We are looking to build out an exciting team within our studio to help translate our ambitious designs into working drawings and built form. Partisans is also developing proprietary BIM workflows and protocols for design to construction translation.
Senior Architect qualifications include:
- outstanding organizational skills, energy and passion for your work
- lateral thinker and problem solver; Ability to express innovation and rigor around ideas
- ability to translate strong design intent to technical resolution/solutions
- solid technical understanding of building construction detailing
- experience with commercial, institutional & multi-res an asset
- experience with material innovation & non-standard construction methodologies
- experience leading teams, coordinating with clients & consultants (bonus)
- minimum seven plus years of experience since graduation from a B.Arch or M.Arch
- proficient with Revit and (Rhino optional but helpful)
- experience with tall buildings and institutional work (bonus but not required)
- construction/CA experience an asset
- excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
