IA Interior Architects is presently searching for a Junior Designer Intern to join their London studio beginning in June 2024. The Junior Designer, while working under the direct supervision of a more senior Designer or Project Manager, performs a broad variety of drafting and/or design tasks that will lend them hands-on experience within the design field.
Junior Designer Intern Tasks
- Work under the direct supervision of peers and senior-level staff, the intern will function as an entry-level Junior Designer
- Modifying drawings to incorporate design and technical changes
- Creating or modifying presentation documents
- Selecting finishes and producing finish palettes
- Assisting with scheduling vendor presentations and library filing and organization
- Assisting with site verifications, field surveys, or Snagging
Required Skills
- Fundamental knowledge of space planning, design methods, documentation, materials, and aesthetics
- Fundamental Revit/3D Design skills
- Intermediate Adobe Suite skills
- Intermediate Hand-Sketch & Rendering skills
- Enscape experience encouraged
- Self-starter
