Dubai 2100 Ideas Competition

How would Dubai look and function in the next century? The Dubai 2100 Ideas Competition invites participants to envision the future of one of the fastest-developing cities in the world. As Dubai looks to the future, it is seeking to transform into a sustainable and vibrant urban landscape that expresses its local culture and its relationship with a global population. The Dubai 2100 Ideas Competition invites participants to share their ideas on what kind of radical and innovative developments could ensure Dubai becomes a world-leading sustainable city.

For the submission, participants are asked to produce 3 individual drawings/images/renders/illustrations.

Eligibility

  • All participants must be over the age of 18.
  • Participants can enter as individuals or as teams. If entering as a team, a team leader must be designated.
  • Participants must not be affiliated with The Organizer, including its employees, affiliates, jury members or beneficiaries as well as immediate family members of parties involved with The Organizer.

Judging Criteria

  • The entries are assessed based on innovative ideas, high-quality design and thorough research and well-supported ideas.
  • A proof of concept needs to be expressed through references to the technology used.
  • High quality and clear visual representation of ideas are expected.

Prizes

  • 1st Prize: GBP 700 + Certificate + Custom Trophy
  • 2nd Prize: GBP 500 + Certificate
  • 3rd Prize: GBP 300 + Certificate
  • Honourable Mentions: Certificate
