AB Design Studio is seeking an ambitious, talented new Project Captain at both their Los Angeles and Santa Barbara studios. This team member will coordinate, delegate and distribute architectural planning content within the studio. They will also participate in the Design Process in order to generate creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coordinating managing and delegating to the project support team for project production,
• Utilizing other design professionals in other disciplines and outsource drafting, 3D (BIM) modeling and illustration services
• Serving as a subject matter expert on specialized systems
• Taking over in place of the Project Manager and fulfilling their central role as the “project-hub” when required
• Developing and representing the lead technical viewpoint on projects
• Managing submittals and coordinates with all relevant parties including, but not limited to firm leadership, design consultants, general contractors, owners and agencies

Qualifications

• Advanced level of knowledge about project delivery, management and the art and science of building and contract documentation
• 6+ years of Licensed Professional or 8+ years of Non-Licensed experience required
• Proficiency in Design, ArchiCad, Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative suite
