Dkstudio is looking for a motivated, experienced Senior Architect to run retail and residential projects. The selected candidate will work full-time at the studio’s Toronto headquarters.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 8 years construction and contract administration experience
• Minimum 8 years consultant coordination
  Degree in architecture from a registered university or programme
• Strong working knowledge of the OBC, NBC, Canadian building construction & detailing
• Proficiency in Revit & AutoCad
• Ability to work confidently with clients, contractors, trades etc.
• Retail and workplace design project experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• A Senior Architect at Dkstudio is responsible for running all stages of high end retail and boutique workplace projects, including producing working drawings and leading a team of architects and designers
• Assisting with Planning & Zoning reviews as well as Permit submissions
• Producing technical drawings, DD sets, Permit & Construction drawings sets
• Consultant coordination
• Contract administration
• May include travel as a part of project responsibilities to help service projects across Canada and the USA
