If you’re looking to put an end to sad desk lunches (and bolster employee morale in the process), focus on making your company’s kitchen feel more like a buzzy restaurant. That’s a lesson driving a new wave of office design — and one that Form Us With Love took to heart during Stockholm Design Week 2025. Not only that, but it opened its canteen up to drop-ins, too. For three days in February, the studio reconfigured its headquarters into a pop-up restaurant operated in partnership with chef Albin Edberg and mixologists from Lucy’s Flower Shop (which, somewhat confusingly, is actually a great local cocktail bar).

Dubbed Testing Grounds Bistro, the temporary venue also exhibited Form Us With Love’s latest launches, many of which were presented in bright red for maximum impact. Catena architectural strip lights encased in mesh cylinders (designed for the brand Blond) joined cocoon-like Nest club chairs (for +Halle), while Center Center storage (for String, and newly available in fresh colourways) served as a bar. A rebuke of static furniture displays, the environment invited visitors to experience each of these products in use — all while snacking on some charred skrei cod and sipping a dill-infused highball. Plenty of positive word of mouth followed.
