Poetica is Scavolini’s new furniture system distinguished by a sophisticated and bewitching harmony between elements from the past and modern proportions which become the model’s distinguishing feature, lending its surroundings a unique and timeless charm. Designed by Vuesse, Poetica was created with American elegance in mind. Wood plays one of the leading roles in the collection, reminiscent of the warmth of tradition thanks to its natural beauty and unique textures.
The distinguishing feature of Poetica is its superior aesthetic value, thanks to the meticulous door treatment, which brings together a refined retro-inspired motif with modern and functional details. The 1” thick door features a slim, solid Ash wood frame and a central panel veneered in a matching wood finish. This detail embraces classic style while at the same time offering a lively, contemporary look.
In addition to the reduced micro-shaker frame size, the appeal of the collection can also be seen in the door opening with an “intermediate” round recessed grip profile. This unique feature introduces a new take on compositions, underscored by the continuity of the plain full-height doors on the tall units. To add another architectural touch, the interior of the configurations can also be integrated with Scavolini’s new Vertical System wall panelling.
Poetica is available in various combinations with unique materials and finishes, each carefully created to satisfy the most discerning tastes. A notable highlight is a PET micro-textured finish which offers a translucent reflection and a silky touch and is sustainably made with 100 per cent recycled bottle plastic. From cozy and sophisticated to dynamic and contemporary settings, the Poetica collection offers versatility and tailored design solutions with the highest quality industrial craftsmanship.
While Scavolini is synonymous with exceptional kitchen designs, the new Poetica collection can also be used to furnish the living room with dedicated cabinets that perfectly match all the finishes available for its collection of doors. The collection’s remarkable versatility makes it possible to mix different materials and colours, or to insert open-fronted compartments between the base units or the wall units, generating unique and original compositions, devised to emphasize and liaise with the surrounding setting, whatever its style: classic or contemporary.
