Woods Bagot is hiring an Interior Designer with 3-5 years of experience in the field. You’ll be based out of their office in Sydney, Australia, with the flexibility to work remotely. This is an opportunity for Woods Bagot’s Interior Designer to take ownership of key components within mid-to-large scale projects while supporting the Project Leader. Woods Bagot is looking for someone with a strong eye for design and proficiency in independently documenting projects using Revit.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Interior Designers and Architects to develop and deliver project design and documentation.
• Support the creation and communication of design narratives, spatial planning, and schematic layouts.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and suppliers; prepare reports, drawings and specifications throughout all project phases.
• Assist in risk management and uphold quality and professionalism across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience working in Interior Design field and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Proficient in Revit, with strong documentation skills; skilled in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop; Enscape and other rendering tools a plus.
• Strong design skills across concept, development, and delivery phases, with the ability to clearly communicate design intent through visuals and presentations.
• Experience producing coordinated documentation sets, including technical drawings and fit-out details, aligned with project phases.
• Comfortable working with suppliers and consultants; understands services coordination.
• Familiar with Australian building codes and standards.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to high team performance.
