The newest launch from Copenhagen-based multidisciplinary design brand Frama is the Ratio Series, a substantial storage solution collection designed in collaboration with Ana Magalhães Ilharco and Matilde Cortez de Lobão.

Described as a study in balanced proportions, the Ratio Series from Frama combines geometric rhythm with a compelling visual lightness, offering freestanding storage options that have a surprising yet subdued presence.

Included in the Ratio Series are a side table, console, chest and trolley, each of which feature a tidy and fuss-free expression.

The smallest of the bunch is the Ratio side table, an ideal bedside or chair-side companion that includes open storage on top and a small cabinet with an internal shelf below.

With generous push-to-open horizontal drawers, the Ratio chest is topped with a sleek raised platform that increases its functionality by providing an additional spot for both display and storage.

The Ratio console is the largest in the series and offers three push-to-open drawers that effortlessly corral items that need to be close at hand yet out of sight. Similar to the chest, the console is capped by a floating shelf for display and partially hidden storage.

Inspired by traditional bar carts, the Ratio trolley features a removable tray for service and is set on castors for ease of transport.

All four pieces in the Ratio Series from Frama are made from a combination of MDF, birch veneer and solid birch, and are stained and lacquered in a rich, warm brown to showcase the beautiful grain of the woods.
