Cumulus Architects is hiring an Intermediate Architect with 8+ years of practice experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Toronto, Ontario. This is a significant opportunity to develop your technical, management and design skills while making an impact on a diverse range of projects across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs and space planning in collaboration with the team
• Produce highly accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of projects
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
• Supervise and mentor junior staff

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of practice experience
• Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills
• Proficiency in Revit and related production software
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and other applicable laws
• Eligibility for Membership in the OAA
• Critical thinking, effective problem solving and decision-making skills
• Experience preparing design and construction documents
• Excellent communication skills
