Studio Munge is hiring a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Miami, Florida. This is an opportunity for Studio Munge’s Project Manager to maintain focus on protecting the integrity of the over-arching Design intent of the project at all phases with the utmost amount of care and attention to detail. Studio Munge is looking for someone with project management experience in all phases of projects for high-end hospitality, private or multi-residential projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall project management, administration, and direction.
  • Support contract negotiations, proposal development, and design planning.
  • Resolve design, functionality, and constructability issues with implementable strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance and Design Directors on project financials.
  • Assist in coordinating design drawings and addressing consultant issues.
  • Lead consultant coordination meetings and serve as the primary client contact.
  • Track project performance, status reports, budgets, and scheduling impacts.
  • Manage change orders, additional services, and monitor progress and costs.
  • Oversee technical detailing to meet design intent and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Mentor design and technical team members.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and mock-ups.
  • Conduct site visits and address construction issues in coordination with the design team.

Qualifications

  • Be legally entitled to work in the United States.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 5+ of project management experience in all phases of projects for high-end hospitality, private or multi-residential projects
  • Working knowledge of interior construction, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Technical skills: able to communicate or clarify design intent by way of hand-sketch or 3D Sketchup
  • Ability to travel to Canadian and international projects
  • PMP Certification or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience managing international projects
  • Bilingual and trilingual an asset
  • Softward skills in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Revit and Microsoft Project Software
