Lecht Screen Pinch

British furniture and lighting design studio Pinch recently introduced the Lecht Screen to its offerings, an elegant made-to-order spatial divider designed by co-founder Russel Pinch.

The Lecht Screen from Pinch has plant fibre panels that allow light to pass through

The Lecht Screen from Pinch offers both privacy and transparency thanks to its transclucent plant fibre panels. Available in Ivory or Black tones, the plant fibre (abaca) panels possess an organic beauty that is heightened by the subtle variations in colour and tone.

Crafted from European oak (a temperate white oak hardwood native to Europe), the frame of the Lecht Screen has a golden to light brown hue and a minimal grain pattern. The wood is treated with protective white oil finish to allow it to gracefully age without noticeable discolouration and to provide protection from daily use.

Concertina hinges in dark bronze let the screen be easily opened or closed, extended or compacted, to bring transparent division where it is needed.

The Lecht Screen can also be constructed with COM panels instead of the offered plant fibre options, furthering its adaptability for residential spaces.

The Lecht Screen is characterized by the quiet and refined elegance that weaves through the entire Pinch portfolio. Pinch works closely with skilled craftspeople across the U.K. and Europe to ensure its products are of a high and consistent quality.
