BDP Quadrangle is hiring a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an opportunity to be in a key position to drive the performance of the projects in the London studio. BDP Quadrangle is looking for someone who demonstrates relevant experience in design and commercial management and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the commercial team on cost, contracts, and risk register input, supporting change control and contractual notifications
• Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and project partners, working closely with BDP project leads throughout all phases
• Manage design activities against programme milestones, including changes, planning, sustainability, CDM, and H&S requirements
• Support resolution of design challenges in collaboration with the BDP Management team
• Develop and monitor work plans with Design Leads, revising as needed throughout the project lifecycle
• Report progress and financial performance to BDP directors and principals, and support monthly reporting
• Determine and plan project resource needs with Design and Project Leads; present options to leadership
• Participate in QA processes, manage RFIs, maintain records, and assist with bid submissions

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience within the Construction or Engineering environment
• Ideally a Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or related discipline
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of operation and differentiating aspects of professional services contracts e.g FIDIC and forms of construction procurement
• Mathematical and commercial literacy
• A good team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and quality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Able to plan and schedule design activities and identify interdependencies. Some knowledge and experience of working with project planning software
• Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative, and under pressure
