HDR is hiring a Digital Design Lead with 5+ years of experience. You’ll be based out of their office in London, United Kingdom. This is an opportunity to execute digital deliverables and supporting production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects. HDR is looking for someone who demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical support.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Delivery Coordinators/Specialists, managing the digital model environment, deliverables, and project-level DDP.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to establish infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables per project scope.
• Oversee and execute digital deliverables across all project phases, ensuring model health, coordination, and adherence to company standards.
• Set up and maintain models (project info, coordinates, scope, match-lines, views, sheets) and document management systems for multi-discipline projects.
• Host coordination meetings, manage quality control, 3D reviews, and deliverable exchanges at milestones.
• Archive projects at submittals and closeout.
• Provide technical support, mentorship, and skill development for staff; guide Project Managers and collaborate with other Digital Delivery Leads.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent education/experience, with 5+ years in BIM element authoring and 5+ years in digital delivery/model management.
• Strong understanding of discipline integration, building systems, industry standards, codes, and specifications.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D design software, coordination tools, document management systems, Microsoft Office, and communication platforms.
• Familiarity with automation, programming, add-ins, supporting applications, and content creation/management.
• Exceptional client service, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, leadership traits, and ability to balance technical support with project demands.
