Lake Flato is hiring an Intermediate Interior Designer with 4 to 8 years of experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Texas, USA. This is an opportunity to lead the production of project documentation and internal and external coordination including material and fixture schedules, furniture plans, furnishing drawings for pricing and construction, and finish specifications. Lake Flato is looking for someone with the ability to sketch and draw by hand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the conceptualization of high-end residential interiors projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and lead documentation and coordination of architectural finishes, fixtures, custom millwork and furnishings.
• Design, source and organize furnishings, lighting, and accessories in alignment with the projects design vision.
• Participate in client meetings and actively contribute to internal and external design dialogue.
• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets.
• Produce and track client proposals and vendor purchase orders using studio designer.

Qualifications

• College degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 4-8 years of experience in high-end residential interior design
• Excellent oral, written and graphic communication skills
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office; AutoCAD, SketchUp, Concepts+ and Studio Designer a plus
• Familiarity with procurement best practices
