The new Sagrada Spanish Recycled Glass collection from Tile Club is the latest sustainable option added to the California-based online brand’s portfolio of transformative tiles.
Crafted in Spain from 100 per cent post-consumer repurposed glass, the Sagrada Spanish Recycled Glass collection is a series of indoor and outdoor mosaics that combine a distinctive style with sustainability.
To make the Sagrada Spanish Recycled Glass collection, Tile Club first meticulously selects and sorts glass waste by colour before it is crushed and blended with sand to form new glass. This manufacturing process ensures durability and extends the lifespan of installations.
Suitable for both residential and commercial applications, including wet areas like shower floors and swimming pools, the Sagrada Spanish Recycled Glass collection offers versatility and the opportunity for creative freedom. The tiles can be mixed and matched to devise unique wall, floor and backsplash installations.
The mosaics have a slip-resistant matte finish and the glass material is resistant to frost, thermal shock and pool chemicals, while UV-stability provides long-lasting colour fastness in a product that would otherwise fade in sun-exposed settings.
Multiple dot-mounted 30.9-by-30.9-centimetre formats are included in the Sagrada Spanish Recycled Glass collection — penny round, hexagon and square — along with a variety of colours inspired by the sunbaked hues of the Spanish coast — Copper, White and Multicolour. Corner trims are also offered, which are ideal for finishing pool ledges, countertops and shower niches.
