The Stella pendant by Pablo Designs is a new dynamic lighting fixture that encourages interaction. Able to expand and contract with ease, the pendant transforms from an inward-facing ambient light to a downward facing direct one.
The canopy of the Stella pendant by Pablo Designs is made from multiple interwoven aluminum arm segments that are attached to one another via strategically placed pivot joints.
Concealed within the interior surface of the segments, the fasteners allow for a clean and uninterrupted silhouette when viewed from every angle. This construction allows the dynamic structure to adjust its diameter from 25.4 to 150 centimetres.
A highly versatile system, the Stella pendant offers a new and dynamic relationship to lighting, with its ability to form a compact and focused cone-like shape to a wide-reaching umbrella of light. Along with both the inward facing and downward facing illumination arrangements, the Stella pendant by Pablo Designs can also be inverted to provide upward facing indirect lighting.
Suspended from slender cords, the construction of the Stella pendant by Pablo Designs uses minimal amounts of materials, 85 per cent of which are recyclable. The fixture is available in two sophisticated exterior colours, Graphite and Sand, with an internal polycarbonate fully dimmable diffuser.
Suitable for use over dining tables, kitchen islands, entry foyers, multiples of the Stella pendant can also be grouped together to create expansive chandelier groupings.
