When creating the Moraine collection for Hennepin Made, co-founder Joe Limpert was inspired by the northern glacial landscapes of Minnesota, the home state of the artisanal lighting brand.

The region’s topography has been shaped by ice over thousands of years and features unique rolling hills, ridges and countless lakes. These natural formations are echoed in the sculpted spheres that comprise the Moraine collection from Hennepin Made. 

Crafted by skilled artisans, the perfect spheres are made from warm-toned glass and accented by hand-finished brass hardware. Each glass sculpture is hand-blown to create an expertly balanced and pleasing form, while a portfolio of warm tones evokes the dimension, depth and oh-so-subtle variations in glacial stone. 

The hand-blown glass portions of the Moraine collection from Hennepin Made are available in four standard and four premium moody and nature-inspired colours. The four standard colour options – Blue Heron, Rye, Linen and Opaline – are solid and uniform, casting a calm and enveloping atmosphere. 

Meanwhile, the four premium colour choices of the Moraine collection from Hennepine Made – Cloudstone, Sienna, Sandstone and Moss – feature strokes of creamy white that work with the tonal variations to create a more dynamic and deep effect. 

Each of the eight total colours can be accented by one of six metallic finishes: Antique Bronze, Brushed Brass, Black Patina, Gunmetal, Matte Black and Matte White. 

The Moraine collection from Hennepin Made includes a three-light flush-mount ceiling fixture, an orb-shaped scone, a globe-shaped sconce, a globe-shaped pendant and an oval-shaped pendant.
