To clad the Asplund Pavilion installation at the 2018 Venice Biennale, Alpi developed an experimental shingle featuring its Xilo 2.0 Planked Grey wood pattern. Part of the standard catalogue, the Xilo 2.0 collection was originally designed by Piero Lissoni and features veining and finishes inspired by natural wood.
