The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Steffen Kehrle’s Bazar series for Richard Lampert comes in a cylindrical freestanding unit (far left) and as wall-mounted racks in a variety of configurations and painted-steel finishes.

The latest version of Random, by Neuland Industriedesign, is super-slim and light – thanks to its all-new material: carbon-fibre. The limited-edition tower is on display at the MDF Italia booth.

Wall Tray, by Kenyon Yeh for Scandinavian company Menu, allows you to lift the natural oak shelves right off their steel supports and use them as trays.

In the Danish Design Makers exhibit, Thomas Albertsen is showing Wrapped, an ingenious and easy-to-mount shelving system with wall supports that can be positioned up or down.

Combining cherry wood and laminated acquamarine glass – and transparency with modernity – the lovely Hampton piece by Eric Jourdan for Ligne Roset pays homage to Mies van der Rohe.
