The gala at the Evergreen Brick Works is the place to be to find out the jury-selected winners, as well as the People’s Choice recipients in each category of the AZ Awards. These products, projects and concepts represent the best in furniture, lighting, architecture, interiors and landscapes from around the world.
The winners were chosen from among 48 finalists – themselves selected from over 650 submissions by designers, manufacturers, architects and students in 36 countries – by our esteemed jury members, including architect and designer Ron Arad, interior designer Diego Burdi of Burdifilek and Jamie Gray of New York retailer Matter. Among those projects vying for awards are MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple’s Cliff House in Nova Scotia; Coil Lamp by Toronto’s Castor Design; and David Oakey’s Net Effect carpet tile for Interface. All of the finalists will be featured in Azure‘s annual awards issue, on newsstands in June.
Following the ceremony, guests can clink glasses with the finalists and winners, as the party continues with music, food and wine from Henry of Pelham, Perroni and Terroni.
