The jurors have convened, a record-breaking 83 finalists have been announced and the date for the big reveal is set. Ahead of this year’s AZ Awards Gala, have your say and support your favourite finalists — in all 24 categories — to determine this year’s People’s Choice winners!

Now celebrating its 13th year, the 2023 edition of the AZ Awards drew over 1,000 submissions, with the 83 finalists comprising a wide range of projects, products and concepts from around the world. This year’s selections illustrate an international scope of excellence in design. The finalists were selected by our distinguished jury, comprising Jay Osgerby, Marie Christine Dorner, David Fortin, Thom Fougere, Alain Gilles, Meg Graham, Peter Mabeo, Pascale Sablan, Lawrence Scarpa, and Jerry Van Eyck. On June 23, we will celebrate all of them and announce the winners at the AZ Awards Gala — our first in-person gala event in years! get your tickets now! — as well as online and in our special print edition dedicated to the awards. Taking place at Toronto’s Evergreen Brick Works, the 2023 AZ Awards Gala will fête this year’s finalists and winners — including the People’s Choice laureates — in an evening of food, drink and celebration, all in the company of our Guest of Honour, legendary designer Ron Arad. Until then, everyone will get a chance to vote for their favourite AZ Awards 2023 finalists in the People’s Choice category! Voting closes on May 19.
