AZ AWARDS Meet the jury 01

CLAUDE CORMIER was recently selected as an Emerging Voice for North America by the Architectural League of New York. Principal of Montreal-based Claude Cormier Landscape Architects, he was also recognized by Fast Company magazine as one of fourteen international designers advancing the field. He is a recipient of the Knight of the Ordre national du Québec, for development and leadership.

CRAIG DYKERS is the co-founder of the Oslo and New York-based architecture, landscape and interior design firm Snøhetta. He co-designed such award-winning projects as the Alexandria Library in Egypt, the National Opera in Oslo, Norway, and the National September 11 Memorial Museum and Pavilion at the World Trade Center in New York City.

EERO KOIVISTO is a partner in Swedish architecture and design firm Claesson Koivisto Rune. Their product designs have been produced by international companies such as Arflex, Boffi, Cappellini, Iittala, Living Divani, Paola Lenti, Swedese and Tacchini. Claesson Koivisto Rune was honoured as the first Swedish architecture firm to exhibit at the Venice Biennale.

GLENN PUSHELBERG is a co-founder of Toronto and New York-based interior design firm Yabu Pushelberg. He and studio partner George Yabu were named Designer of the Year by Contract magazine and inducted into Interior Design magazine’s Hall of Fame. The firm’s clientele includes Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Thompson Hotels, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.

The star-studded jury will convene in March to choose the winners that will be published in AZURE’s AZ AWARDS ANNUAL on newsstands June 2011.
