Staking claim on a huge chunk of the Milan Fairgrounds (40,000 square metres, to be exact), Euroluce returns to Milan Design Week with the very latest in decorative and technical lighting. Here are three not-to-miss hits from the more than 200 exhibitors who will showcase bright new lights.

1. Dainty as ever, the Giulia (a wall lamp) and Giulietta (a table lamp) from Catellani & Smith both offer a warm white glow thanks to a ring of LEDs mounted to a mirror-polished metal disc.

2. For Fabbian, Benjamin Hubert has created Paddle, a charming LED table lamp inspired by the movement of a canoe blade. It features an ash timber body and a paddle head made of pressed aluminum. In Roofer, another fixture for the company, Hubert overlays flexible silicon polymer tiles on a curved metal frame to create an eye-catching shade.

3. Foscarini unveils Behive – its first collaboration with German designer Werner Aisslinger. Not only does the horizontally striped pattern of the diffuser recall the shape of its namesake, it is also evokes the manufacturer’s greatest hits (think: Le Soleil and Supernova).
