Inspired by architect Marcel Breuer’s stacked cuboid structures, Jourdan reinterprets the assembly of volumes in these new pieces.
Hugged by a curved veneer walnut panel – a Jourdan signature – on the back and right-hand side, the assymetircal lacquered table tops and storage components (in the desk, secretary and sideboard) come in satin-finish mastic, argile or elephant lacquer and can be mixed (shown). For a dab of colour, a lavender blue lacquer can be applied only to the right-hand units.
North American’s can expect the new line to hit stores in the late summer/early fall.
