Made from classic brass and boasting sculptural shapes, these desktop organizers and writing implements help keep your WFH office running smoothly, and stylishly.

121 Capsule Collection by Bert Frank

U.K.-based lighting company Bert Frank recently launched the 121 capsule collection of highly tactile desk accessories instruments that exhibits the brand’s signature industrial style. Doing double duty as functional organizers and writing instruments and eye-catching sculptural objects, the individual pieces are handmade from machined CZ121 solid brass (the material gives the collection its name). The catchalls feature vertical, horizontal and spiral lathed designs while three paper weights in ball, cube and pyramid forms play up simple geometric shapes. Rounding out the series are two diligently crafted brass pens (in rollerball and ballpoint versions) and two refillable pencils, making for a coordinated desktop to inspire creativity.

Core Collection by Alietum

Expressing geometric and minimalist sophistication, the Core collection of desktop goods from Alietum was conceived by founder and designer Rachel Many as a way to counter the modern-day attachment to electronics. Taking an analog approach to design, the Los Angeles-based branding and design studio developed the objects to be both useable and beautiful; the pieces are made from solid bass and finished by hand. Included in the series are small lidded jars that feature either a round solid marble or stepped terrazzo knob, a smooth pentagonal bolt pen, a monthly desktop notepad and an amoeba-like key ring set.

Radial Set by DesignByThem

Stunning in their simplicity, this series of shallow vessels exudes an elegance bolstered by the chosen material – created by DesignByThem co-founders Sarah Gibson and Nicholas Karlovasitis, the pieces are made of 100 per cent solid spun brass that has been given a sunray finish for a radiant glow. Comprised of a bowl and slightly larger tray, the receptacles will develop a subtle patina over time, and bring a quiet note of luxury to desktops (and entryways, side tables or anywhere else a catchall is needed).

Perfectly Arranged: Three Accessories Collections to Corral the Little Things

Establish an efficient – and attractive – WFH setup with these polished pieces in classic brass.
