The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

Dubai Design Week

Dubai Design Week is gearing up for its ninth edition taking place 7 – 12 November 2023. The annual event is one of the region’s most significant cultural occasions with a line-up of programming demonstrating Dubai’s commitment to design.

Encompassing a range of design disciplines, including architecture, product design, interiors, and multimedia, this year’s programme is a celebration of design in all its forms, exploring the intersection of design and innovation, the role of design in shaping the environment, and highlighting regional design excellence. Applications to be part of the upcoming edition are welcome under the following 2023 programme categories:


Urban Commissions:

  • 15 July Deadline
  • This year, the commission presents an opportunity for creatives to develop innovative public urban furniture.


Outdoor Installations:

  • 15 July Deadline
  • A core component Dubai Design Week, installations offer creatives an opportunity to showcase their creative expression around a specific idea, through design.


UAE Designer Exhibition:

  • 31 July Deadline
  • A curated multi-disciplinary showcase staged at Downtown Design, featuring established and emerging UAE talent from the local design community.


Exhibition:

  • Entities and institutes looking to stage multi-disciplinary exhibitions and showcases ranging from academic to cultural, as part of the vibrant programme, are welcome to reach out.


Activations:

  • Activate your studio or brand through exhibitions, events and pop-ups during Dubai Design Week to boost awareness and engagement through creative experiences that excite and engage visitors.
