Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Please note that this has expired and is for reference only. See our active listings for more competitions.

The Emerging Talents Award is your chance to show off the coolest projects you’ve ever made. It doesn’t matter if you’re a student or a pro. The team at non-a want to see the best you’ve got. You can share anything related to architecture, from building designs to city planning to unique landscape work and even wild, out-of-the-box ideas. Just as long as it’s something that gets people thinking and talking about architecture.

Eligibility:

  • Non Architecture Competitions are open to all human beings, from every age and cultural background. This is a free competition to join, and each person will join as an individual.
  • You have to show off at least three projects. So pick your best ones. (if you already participate in an ETA, then you have to add at least two more projects).

Jury:

The non-a team will be responsible for looking at all the portfolios and picking the best one.

Prize:
The designer of the Emerging Talents Award with the best projects wins a Personal Branding Package. This includes:

  • A winner badge on your non-a profile page
  • Being featured on non-a’s homepage Spotlight section
  • Space on non-a’s Social Media with a post and reel to introduce yourself and your work
