The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

SAS’ second competition celebrates the talent of architecture and design for students and young professionals through a single render. This competition is not limited to architecture, those from other arts and product design industries are welcomed to participate.

SAS truly believes in the power of digital tools to communicate and represent ideas and express creativity. You can submit any rendered drawing be it an axonometric, isometric, 3D render, visualization, or product Design render. It can be related to any domain.

Eligibility

  • Participation can be done in teams; one or more people can be involved in the creation of a drawing.

Submission Requirements

  • Participants must submit a single render in JPEG or PNG format and its description (100 words max.) in PDF format.
  • Participants must mention their Instagram account in the submission description PDF, with each team mate’s details and email address.
  • Follow & tag @smartarchstudio & #smartarchstudio when uploading the drawing you have submitted to Instagram, also tagging all other participants. 

Awards

  • Winner: Up to $500 USD
  • Runner-Up: Up to $250 USD
  • Top 10: Certificate & Publication
