Lighthouse Hotel: Architecture & Interior Design Competition aims to imagine a new life for an evocative lighthouse in ruins. The competition requires the design of a boutique hotel within the abandoned lighthouse overlooking the crystalline sea of the Tremiti Islands.

What if tourists and visitors were offered the chance to “experience” it by staying inside the renovated structure for a few days? How would you successfully implement an accommodation offer of this type and integrate it coherently with the surrounding landscape?

The project will be mainly focused on the transformation of the interior spaces of the lighthouse, through concepts and strategies able to illustrate detailed and high quality design solutions. It will be asked to intervene also on the external areas pertaining to the hotel and particular attention will be required by the terrace overlooking the sea.

The competition is open to students, architects, designers, urbanists, engineers, artists, makers, activists and anyone interested in the architectural design.
