Enel is looking for a new architectural concept design for a prefabricated secondary substation. Secondary substations are electrical infrastructures dedicated to the transformation of medium voltage to low voltage, and to the control and the protection of the electricity grid. The Challenge aims at identifying an innovative architectural design for a street-level secondary substation that features sustainable materials and is able to ensure the harmonious integration of the structure into the rural and urban contexts of use while retaining existing functionalities.
