The Interior Design Show Vancouver 2025 is calling interior designers and architects to be at the forefront of conversations about cutting-edge design. Expressions of interest in being part of the new IDS feature Night & Day: The Evolution of Hotel Design are now being accepted.
Brief
Hospitality has been a guiding light in interior design, providing cues for residential and office projects. Hotels have morphed from a place to stay to a place to meet, drink, eat, work, and be seen. They are some of the hardest-working buildings and interiors, having to provide security, hygiene, comfort, and style 24/7—both night and day.
Night & Day will create a platform for leading voices in hospitality design at IDS Vancouver 2025. The feature will also serve as an experiential, inspirational main conversation piece of the show.
The feature follows the success of the critically acclaimed Future Neighbourhood, which was the centrepiece of IDS Vancouver 2024.
Guidelines
- Night & Day at IDS Vancouver 2025 spotlights leading designers and manufacturers in the sector.
- Six spaces, each created by a leading interior designer or architect, portray the latest discipline-shaping trends, technology, and avant-garde ideas.
- Each section should show the latest trends and what’s next for this type of interior.
- Each interior designer/architect (‘Design Team’) picks one space type. There is a limit on the number of spaces of each type on a first come, first served basis.
- Please note that this project is only available to design teams that include registered architects and/or interior designers.
