Tigullio Design District, Nautic One & Desall announce the 2023 edition of the Sea Design Contest, a student design competition entirely dedicated to the nautical sector and open to design students from all over the world. Entries from a broad spectrum of creative applications are eligible, ranging from industrial design to fashion and lifestyle.

Young designers are invited to submit new or existing concepts in three categories: Nautical Design, Industrial Design, and “Design for All,” the latter of which aims to make lifestyles on the sea and in the water more sustainable and accessible to people with disabilities.

A panel of experts, including journalists and design professionals, will judge the entries. The winners will be invited as guests of honour to the 2023 and 2024 editions of the Tigullio Design District festival where they’ll have the opportunity to present their work to a large network of companies and professionals from the nautical sector. Tigullio Design District is a side event of Salone del Mobile Milano.

The competition is open to design students (18 years and older) and graduates who have completed their studies in 2022. Entrants may submit both unpublished projects and previously published or previously conceived projects.
