Arthur Erickson: Design in Mind explores the work of Canadian master Arthur Erickson through the guiding principles of site, light, cadence and space. The celebrated architect and urban planner was behind works like the Museum of Anthropology at UBC, Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall and Canada’s embassy in Washington, D.C.
The exhibition is part of the Arthur Erickson Centennial celebration, which started in 2024, 100 years after Erickson’s birth. Through photography and an immersive 270-degree digital experience, Arthur Erickson: Design in Mind reveals how the architect’s deep connection to nature, love of art and bold ideas about design continue to inspire how we experience the world around us.
