The Hong Kong Institute of Architects invites you to the preview and opening reception of Beyond Territories – Made. Make. Making, the first comprehensive survey of HKIA in New York. On view October 11-25, 2022, the exhibition showcases the work of local and international architects whose expertise, style and acumen have helped shape Hong Kong into the major international city it is today.

The Beyond Territories – Made. Make. Making exhibition aims to highlight the achievements of the profession in the past 25 years in urbanization and sustainable development in Hong Kong and beyond. Divided into three zones, MADE, MAKE, and MAKING, each including innovative installations and multimedia displays co-created by architects and artists, the curation allows attendees to explore the chronology of the city: recalling past developments, evaluating contemporary issues, and pondering the future.
