The mission of Modernism Week 2023 is to celebrate and foster appreciation of midcentury architecture and design, as well as contemporary thinking in these fields, by encouraging education, preservation and sustainable modern living as represented in the greater Palm Springs area.

Modernism Week is a California non-profit, charitable organization (it provides scholarships to local students pursuing college educations in the fields of architecture and design and supports the preservations of modernist architecture throughout California). Its signature February event is an annual celebration of midcentury modern design, architecture, art, fashion and culture; it features more than 350 events, including the Palm Springs Modernism Show, tours of homes and gardens, films, lectures, nightly parties and more.
