PAD London - burnt orange room that is dimly lit with 4 chairs, 1 sofa and a fireplace

Founded in 2007 by Parisian antique dealer Patrick Perrin, PAD London returns in 2025 as a UK fair exclusively dedicated to 20th-century and contemporary design. The fair takes place in a purpose-built pavilion on Berkeley Square, in the heart of London’s Mayfair district, coinciding with Frieze Week. PAD brings together global galleries to showcase modern and contemporary design, decorative arts and collectible pieces. With its blend of historical and avant-garde works, the fair encourages bold juxtapositions across periods and disciplines — offering collectors, museum professionals, designers and enthusiasts a richly layered, immersive experience.

One featured installation presented by Friedman Benda, The Magpie’s Nest, is curated by British designer Faye Toogood. Staged within the gallery’s booth, this presentation explores the rituals of collecting and the emotional resonance of objects. PAD London 2025 also serves as a cultural bridge between the UK and France, giving French galleries a platform in London. It celebrates both local and international talent and attracts connoisseurs with a passion for quality, innovation and design.
