Oppenheim Architecture is hiring an Architect with 2 to 5 years of experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Basel, Switzerland. This is an opportunity to contribute to the creative and technical development of projects, from initial concept to construction. Oppenheim Architecture is looking for someone with the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of design concepts and preliminary teasers.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans.
• Support the production of construction documents.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify conditions.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Research building materials, products, and construction techniques.
• Ensure design compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture
• 2-5 years of professional experience (excluding internships)
• To ensure Swiss hiring regulations: EU/ EFTA nationality is mandatory (a residence permit is not enough)
• Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision
• Strong conceptual design skills
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD, V-Ray, Rhino, Lumion, and Adobe Suite
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Initiative in response to direction from project leaders
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
