Cladding Specialist

Adamson Associates Architects is seeking an architect or technologist with experience of detailing cladding to join its Toronto office. 

Reporting to a Project Manager, the successful candidate will work on one of our project teams to produce high-standard Revit construction drawings and details. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed cladding and envelope drawings using Revit, with an emphasis on technicality and accuracy. 
• Work closely with architects and senior technologists to translate design into technical cladding details, particularly for large-scale and commercial buildings. 
• Assist in resolving technical issues.
• Assist in reviews of submittals and shop drawings related to cladding elements.
• Ensure all work meets Adamson standards for quality.
• Complete work upon agreed deadlines.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• 5-8 years of experience in architectural production (DD, CD), ideally with a focus on cladding and building envelope systems. 
• Experience with commercial, mixed-use, and residential buildings.
• Knowledge of cladding systems and their performance considerations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player able to work collaboratively in groups of 3-30.

 Salary Range 80,000+
