Studio BANAA is looking for an Intermediate Designer to join its team in San Francisco, USA.
Work on the boards currently is a ground-up cultural center, a German institute for language and culture, several coffee/tea shop interiors, a ground up center for first responders, and several restaurant projects. The ideal Intermediate Designer candidate will enjoy a highly creative, laid-back and collaborative working environment at a small firm with flexible hours and a passion for architecture and design.
Qualifications:
- three to five years’ experience working in an architectural or interior design practice in the United States (no exceptions)
- ability to work on and design and construction documentation for small to mid-sized projects under supervision of principal architects: manage and redline document sets, manage consultants, contribute to the design process, schedule and manage project deadlines
- strong graphic/presentation and design skills, particularly with hospitality and/or cultural projects
- ability to use Revit Architecture for 3D modelling and drafting construction document sets
- ability to model and design using SketchUp and Rhino
- ability to hand sketching or sketch via an iPad
This is currently a remote position, but we are looking for somebody located in the general Bay Area to perform site visits and meet in-person on an as needed basis.
