Reign Architects is hiring an Intern Architect with 3 to 5 years of post-graduate experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is an opportunity for Reign Architects‘ Intern Architect to to be exposed to all aspects of their practice including office administration, marketing, design, and construction detailing. Reign Architects is looking for someone who demonstrates a sharp work ethic with thorough attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in architecture from an accredited University
• Min 3-5 years of post graduate working experience
• Required Software proficiencies in Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Twin Motion.
• Able to produce digital models and presentation drawings quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and city officials.
• Knowledge in preparing drawing sets for zoning and building permit applications.
• Proficient experience in preparing drawings, schedules, and envelope details for construction.
• Contract Administration experience reviewing shop drawings, RFIs and issuance of SIs.
• Experience in commercial retail and multi unit design under OBC Part 3 would be considered an asset.
• Experienced knowledge of OBC Part 9 is mandatory.
