Cumulus Architects currently has an opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Architect interested in making an impact on a diverse range of innovative projects across Canada.
In this role you will be involved in:
- Work on conceptual designs, space planning, presentations, design development and production
- Manage the deliverables of the design team
- Work with consultants, contractors, specialty equipment suppliers, fabricators, specification writers and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Support Business Development within the healthcare sector
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of practice experience
- Familiar with applicable healthcare design standards
- Familiar with current trends, evidenced based design, lean design principles, etc.
- Sustainability and relevant accreditation in healthcare a plus
- Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills
- Proficiency in Revit and related production software an asset
- Critical thinking, effective problem solving and decision-making skills a must
- Experience preparing design and construction documents for institutional and residential projects
