Passionate about architecture and urban design, the candidate will be called on to work on various private-sector projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in urban or semi-urban site design development and the production of real estate master plans, particularly in commercial, residential and mixed-use markets.

Core Responsibilities
  • Carry out potential and specialized urban development studies; 
  •  Design and develop pre-project documents; 
  •  Produce master planning documentation;
  • Design solutions to conceptual architecture and planning problems for commercial, corporate and residential projects; 
  • Supervise production of technical documents and summary reports; 
  • Verify zoning by-laws and building codes to ensure projects’ compliance;
  • Perform quality control;
  • Participate in the production of construction and planning cost estimates;
  • Direct and participate in meetings and draft minutes as needed;
  • Participate in preliminary project development; 
  • Generate programs and feasibility studies; 
  • Coordinate the work of project contributors such as engineers, urbanists, landscape architects, traffic specialists, etc.;
  • Manage study budgets and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in architecture
  • Specialization in urban design or urban planning
  • Member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec
  • Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in the field of architecture and urban planning
  • Demonstrated experience in private (residential, commercial) architecture projects
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Revit and 3D modeling tools an asset
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Proven leadership and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to manage several files simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Bilingual (French and English).
