LMN Architects is hiring an Urban Designer with 0 to 3 years of experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Seattle, USA, with the flexibility to work remotely. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to digital prototyping, fabrication, visualization, and immersive environments. LMN Architects is looking for someone with an enthusiasm for city planning and urban design.

Responsibilities

• Generating design and planning alternatives for mobility and development projects
  Leading GIS analysis for sites, networks, and neighbourhoods
• Producing clear diagrams to explain ideas, concepts, and alternatives
• Providing planning support for subarea and development projects
• Assisting with outreach and engagement
• 3D modeling and visualization in Rhino and Enscape
• Writing and producing highly visual and conceptually clear reports and presentations

Qualifications

• Professional degree in city planning, urban design, landscape architecture, architecture, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience in a range of planning and urban design contexts
• Proficiency in existing and emerging design and visualization tools and technologies, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Revit, Arc GIS, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
