While creating the Abstract collection of expressive and immersive wallcoverings, Calico co-founder and creative director Rachel Cope drew from her background as an art therapist. 

The large-scale swirling abstracts have a Jungian dream-inspired influence and are derived from Cope’s own original artworks. 

Each pattern taps into the richness of unconscious imaginings and uses lines, colours and shapes to reflect the intricate ways and musings of the mind. 

Compositions sublimely combine delicate gestures with bold forms and overlapping washes and are offered in six colourways. All patterns are custom-printed on Type II PVC-free vinyl.
