Inspired by the well-being promoted by biophilic design, the new Acoustic Wood Textures from LightArt effectively captures the natural beauty and elegance for wood through four authentic-looking designs: Iron Oak, Walnut, Carmel Oak and Rich Bamboo.

Rich Bamboo Acoustic Wood Texture

Applicable to all of LightArt’s lighting and acoustic solutions, each pattern in the Acoustic Wood Textures is printed on the brand’s Sola Felt material using water-based ink and a high-resolution printer. To achieve the realistic wood tonalities, the patterns are based off three of LightArt’s Sola Felt colours – Dune, Driftwood and Nickel. Made from 50 per cent post-consumer recycled PET, the sound-absorbing Sola Felt is eco-friendly solution for acoustic lighting and baffles and has been recognized with an LBC Red List Free Declare Label.

The four wood-look designs range in tone from the warm Rich Bamboo, Walnut and Carmel Oak to the slightly cooler tone of Iron Oak. All four boast realistic wood grains and enhance the offerings for designers and specifiers looking to enhance well-appointed hotels, lobbies, restaurants, workspaces and high-traffic areas like auditoriums and cafés.

A seamless and show-stopping way to introduce an acoustic solution to commercial and hospitality settings, the new patterns are sophisticated and inviting and instill a sense of organic warmth and tactility.

The 11 adaptable LightArt fixtures that can be specified with one of the new Acoustic Wood Textures are: Static, Static Links, Stratta, Baffles, Echo, Empire Shade, Cube Shade, Trapezoid Shade, Cylinder Shade, Trellis and Wing.
